The Author

Matthias Schrader is one of Germany's digital pioneers. In the mid-1990s, he founded SinnerSchrader and developed e-commerce solutions for startups whose products became ready for IPO in record time. In 1999, SinnerSchrader went public and was among the few companies that not only survived the Neuer Markt but actually emerged stronger from that era. In 2006, Matthias Schrader founded the NEXT Conference, which within just a few years established itself as the leading conference for digital transformation in Germany. Subsequently, SinnerSchrader, with over 500 consultants, designers, and software developers, primarily supported DAX corporations in developing digital products. In 2017, the global management and technology consultancy Accenture acquired the company for a nine-figure sum. Following this, the author was responsible for Accenture Interactive/Song's business in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland until the end of 2022. In 2024, he founded the AI-native consultancy and agency OH-SO Digital in Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, and Prague together with numerous longtime colleagues.
